LOVE HAS NO EXCEPTIONS
A Call to Radical Grace
Friday’s video reflection: God Is Love.

Today’s Word
John does not merely say that God is loving. He declares that God is love. Love is not an accessory to God’s character; it is inseparable from who He is. And when we are born of God, His love begins shaping how we treat people.
This week we learned that love is commanded, that it searches our hearts, crosses the road, and remains a debt we owe. Today we discover the source of it all. We cannot manufacture the love of God through willpower alone. We receive His love and allow the Holy Spirit to transform our responses.
Loving others does not mean ignoring abuse, abandoning boundaries, or pretending wrongdoing never happened. God’s love is truthful, holy, merciful, and wise. But bitterness and contempt must not be allowed to lead our hearts.
Today’s Challenge
Think of one person you have struggled to love. Ask God for wisdom, a clean heart, and one safe, practical way to show His love.
Remember
God is the source of love. I am called to reflect His character.

Today’s Word
Think about the sunshine. The sun gives light, and we can share that light by opening a curtain. God is the source of real love. When we know Him, we can let His love shine through our words and actions.
You can show God’s love when you invite someone to play, share what you have, encourage someone who feels sad, or tell the truth kindly. God loves you, and He wants you to love other people too.
Being loving does not mean you must let someone hurt you. Tell a trusted adult when something is wrong.
Today’s Challenge
Do three loving things today: say something kind, help someone, and include someone.
Remember
God loves me, and I can share His love.

Today’s Word
Everybody has an opinion about love. Some call it a feeling. Others call it loyalty, acceptance, or a social-media caption. John goes deeper: God Himself is love. If we say we know Him, the way we treat people should begin to reflect His character.
That means kindness when nobody is recording, compassion toward someone outside your circle, and honesty without cruelty. It also means choosing not to make your pain an excuse to harm someone else. God’s love is not performative; it is transformative.
Healthy boundaries still matter. You can love someone and say no. You can forgive without immediately restoring trust. Love and wisdom belong together.
Today’s Challenge
Before you post, comment, or respond to a difficult person today, ask: “Will this reveal God’s love or just my frustration?” Choose one action that makes love visible.
Remember
My faith should be visible in how I love people.
