Prayer Is Key.
Prayer is not our last resort. It is part of the life of a believer and the life of the Church. We pray because God hears, because we depend upon Him, and because Jesus has invited us to come boldly before the throne of grace.

Why We Pray
Prayer Keeps Us Near to God.
Prayer is communion with God—worshiping Him, seeking Him, listening, confessing, giving thanks, interceding for others, and bringing our needs before Him.
We do not pray because we have all the answers. We pray because we know the One who does. In every season—joy, uncertainty, grief, transition, need, thanksgiving, or expectation—we can turn to God.

There Is Always Something to Pray About.
Prayer reaches every part of life. Bring the whole of your life before God.
Worship
Honor God for who He is. Praise Him for His character, goodness, faithfulness, mercy, and love.
Thanksgiving
Remember what God has done and cultivate a heart that recognizes His provision and grace.
Confession
Come honestly before God, confess sin, receive His forgiveness, and ask Him to renew your heart.
Intercession
Stand in prayer for family, friends, the church, leaders, communities, nations, and people facing need.
Petition
Bring your needs to God. Ask for wisdom, provision, healing, direction, strength, peace, and grace.
Listening
Make room to be still before God, allowing Scripture and the Holy Spirit to shape your heart and response.
Wednesday • 7 PM
Hour of Prayer
Every Wednesday evening, the Ekklesia family gathers online for a dedicated hour of corporate prayer.
We pray together, intercede for others, lift the needs of the church and community, give thanks, and seek God as one body.
Together
There Is Power in Agreement.
Personal prayer matters, and so does praying together. Corporate prayer reminds us that we do not carry burdens alone. The church stands together in faith, compassion, and intercession.

Whatever you are carrying, you do not have to carry it silently. Share your prayer request with Ekklesia so we can stand with you in prayer.
For Yourself
Ask for prayer concerning your faith, family, decisions, work, finances, relationships, direction, or any burden on your heart.
For Someone Else
Intercede for a loved one, friend, neighbor, coworker, community need, or another situation God has placed on your heart.
Give Thanks
Prayer is also praise. Share what God has done so we can rejoice and give thanks with you.
When You Don’t Know What to Pray
Start Where You Are.
Prayer does not require impressive words. Speak honestly to God and let Scripture help shape your prayer.
Quiet your heart and intentionally turn your attention toward God.
Tell God what is really happening in your heart, not what you think you are supposed to say.
Read God’s Word and turn what you read into praise, confession, thanksgiving, or petition.
Move beyond your own needs and intercede for the people and situations God brings to mind.
Place the matter in God’s hands and continue walking faithfully, even while you wait.

Prayer Is a Rhythm, Not an Emergency Button.
Build prayer into everyday life. Pray when you wake. Pray through Scripture. Pray before decisions. Pray for people. Pray when you are grateful. Pray when you are hurting. Pray when you are waiting.
And when words are difficult, remember: God already knows your heart.
