Your Bill Has Been Paid

Good Morning My Ekklesia Family Your Bill Has Been Paid

I remember when I was in my early twenties thought I was grown thought I had life in control, but I soon discovered life had control of me! I was fresh out of the Navy, had just started preaching, had an appartment, a car, a job and was starting to get arrogant. I was not giving GOD the full credit HE DESERVED. You know what happened? I began to lose everything, first the car (How'd you spell REPO? 😂) Brother was TARCing 🚌to work...lost hours on my job... money was coming short... I remember I SPENT MY MONEY ON AN ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM. I came home one day after only working 2-3 hours with a note from my landlord on the door... RENT is 15 DAYS LATE... I walked in to turn on that Entertainment System and... NO POWER! Louisville Gas and Electric cut straight off!

I sat there, alone, in the dark and began to REPENT...telling God "I'm sorry" as I was praying God brought to my memory my parents... in short I called them told them what I had done... my parents called me back and said "My Bills were Paid!"

I said that to say this... God has paid our bill a long time ago with His Son Jesus, He paid His Life and He has given us the ability to shine in darkness. When you shine you are a reflection of Him. All people need to see that, don't take credit for what GOD has done...  “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. Matthew 5:14‭-‬16 NLT
