Hello Mountain... Goodbye!
Good Morning My Ekklesia Family When was the last time you really spoke to those mountains in your life? I am talking about addressing the real issues in your life. I know the each and every one of us has problems but it should not be the only thing we talk about. It saddens me when Christians speak the first thing coming out of the believers mouth are problems. We must understand this Child of God, our Father did not leave us here unequipped to handle lifes issues. You have power in your mouth to speak to your problems and issues and they have to change. Many people still face problems because they don't know how to use their mouth correctly. In other words, We don't know how to communicate correctly.
Not every problem deserves complaints or cussing.
If you watch your mouth and use it rightly, you will discover a power in your palate you may not have known you had.
Are you facing a health problem? Yes, continue to go to the doctors as the Lord works through professionals to heal sickness. But at the same time, speak to your sickness and let it know that your body is healthy in Christ’s name.
Are you struggling with relationship issues? Yes, make sure you have confessed any wrongdoing and forgiven those whom you need to forgive, but also speak life and harmony to that situation.
Do you have financial issues? Yes, pay your bills and look for more streams of income or ways to cut back on spending, but at the same time speak to your bank account—that it will be more than enough and then some. After all, when you are in alignment with God’s rule in your life, He promises to provide for all your needs. If you are tired of bumping into your mountain, follow Jesus’s example and speak to it. Even though you may not understand how the solution could ever come about, trust that He will do it when you say it—and He will. It is done. The power in your palate is unleashed when you combine your words with faith in the Almighty, merciful God. God allows us to bring into the visible realm what He has predetermined in the spiritual realm (Isaiah 55:11).
Jesus told His disciples that the mountains they spoke to would go into the sea. Likewise, in faith, you can speak your addictions into the sea. You can speak your controlling, negative emotions into the sea. You can speak your fear and insecurity into the sea. You can speak the tension on your job right into the sea. You can speak your marital stress into the sea. You can speak that sickness into the sea. You can speak your financial woes into the sea.
Words, coupled with faith, will move mountains. They have for me. They have for many. And they will for you.
I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. Mark 11:23 NLT
