Good Morning, My Ekklesia Family!
Scripture: Hebrews 4:10 (NLT)
"For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world."
This verse speaks about God’s rest—not just physical rest, but a deep, spiritual rest that comes through faith in Christ. In the Old Testament, God established the Sabbath as a day of rest, pointing to something greater—our ultimate rest in Jesus.
Many of us carry burdens—worry, stress, fear, and the pressure to prove ourselves. But Hebrews 4 reminds us that when we trust in Christ, we can stop striving. We don’t have to earn God’s love or work ourselves into exhaustion trying to find peace. True rest comes when we surrender and trust in Jesus, knowing that His finished work on the cross is enough.
Today, God is inviting you to step into His rest. Are you carrying anxiety, burnout, or the weight of past mistakes? Let them go. Surrender your struggles, your plans, and your worries. Trust that He is in control. Rest isn’t just about stopping work—it’s about trusting that God is working for you, even when you can’t see it.
Make time today to be still in His presence. Worship, pray, and let His peace fill your heart.

Father, I surrender my burdens to You. I release my stress, my fears, and my need to control everything. Teach me to rest in You, knowing that You are my provider, protector, and peace. Fill me with Your presence and help me walk in faith today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
