Acknowledging, Knowing, and Reverencing God

Good Morning Ekklesia Family

Proverbs 3:6 (NLT) – “Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”

"There’s a difference between knowing God, acknowledging God, and reverencing God. Many people know of God, but that’s not the same as knowing Him personally. To acknowledge Him means to recognize His authority in every area of our lives. And reverencing Him? That’s living in holy awe, treating Him with the honor He deserves.

Imagine a student and a teacher. A student may know the teacher’s name, but if they never listen to instruction, their knowledge means nothing. A good student acknowledges their teacher by following guidance, and a great student reverences them by applying what they learn with diligence and respect. It’s the same with God—when we truly know Him, we acknowledge Him in our choices, and we reverence Him through obedience."

1 John 4:20 (NLT) – “If someone says, ‘I love God,’ but hates a fellow believer, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see?”

"Jesus taught that our love for God is proven through our love for each other. Serving God isn’t just about words—it’s about action. When we forgive, when we give, when we humble ourselves, we reflect His love. Love isn’t just a feeling; it’s a commitment to serve, to uplift, and to sacrifice. That’s the heart of discipleship!"

"Today, I challenge you—how are you proving your love for God? Are you serving, giving, and loving? Are you acknowledging Him in your daily decisions? Are you reverencing Him in how you live? When we fully surrender to Him, He directs our steps and fills our future with purpose."

"Father, we surrender our hearts to You today. Teach us to know You deeply, to acknowledge You in all our ways, and to reverence You with our lives. Let our love be proven through our service, our kindness, and our obedience. We lay down our pride, our fears, and our selfishness—fill us with Your Spirit, so that our lives bring You glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen!"

If you’ve been feeling distant from God, or if you want to commit to a deeper walk with Him, this is your moment. The Ekklesia family is here to walk with you! Drop a comment, send a message—we are ready to disciple, to pray, and to build together. Because we are not just a church, we are a movement of kingdom-minded believers!

Stay strong, stay faithful, and remember—when we love, we serve, and when we serve, we reflect Christ. God bless you
