Blessed with Family and Friends
Good morning Ekklesia Family
Today lets discuss for our Daily Devotions with God and His Word... The Blessing of Family and Friends in Our Time of Need
Proverbs 17:17 (NLT) – "A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need."
In this season of life, as I walk through the reality of my father being in hospice care, I am reminded of the deep and abiding kindness of God that shows up through family and friends. Their visits, phone calls, and unwavering support are not just gestures; they are lifelines that transcends every color, racial, social, religious, political arena, that God uses to strengthen and uphold me.
Proverbs 17:17 speaks to the enduring nature of true relationships. Friends who are always loyal and family who step in during times of need are reflections of God’s faithfulness. This verse underscores the idea that God places people in our lives to be His hands and feet, offering comfort, strength, and companionship when we need it most.
As I navigate this challenging time, I see the Lord's kindness in every visit, every phone call, and every prayer offered on my behalf. These acts of love remind me that I am not alone, and they strengthen my faith in the God who sees and provides. Just as I am receiving this support, I am encouraged to be that source of strength and comfort for others in their time of need.
Father, I thank You for the blessing of family and friends who stand by me in this season. Your kindness is evident in their care, their prayers, and their presence. I ask that You continue to uphold me and my family with Your love, and may we find peace in knowing that You are with us every step of the way. Encourage those who are supporting us, that they may continue to be Your instruments of grace and love. Amen.
If you are walking through a difficult season, you don't have to walk this path alone, I invite you to find comfort in the arms of Jesus Christ. He offers a family of believers who will walk with you, pray for you, and support you. Join us at Ekklesia Christian Life Ministries, where we believe in the power of community, discipleship, and God’s unending love.
