Build Windmills, Not Walls

Good morning Ekklesia

"Build Windmills, Not Walls"

Isaiah 43:19 – “For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?”

When the winds of change blow, we have two choices: we can build walls to keep out what feels uncertain, or we can build windmills, allowing God to turn that change into something powerful and transformative in our lives. Isaiah 43:19 reminds us that God is constantly doing something new; He’s already begun it, and He’s inviting us to notice it, to open our hearts to His plans.

Friends, when we cling to what’s comfortable, we risk missing the new blessings God is preparing. But when we trust and let His Spirit guide us, we build windmills of faith that catch every wind, every shift, and every challenge, turning it into strength, growth, and purpose. Building on the rock of Jesus means facing change with confidence, knowing our foundation is sure and steady.

Today, let’s choose to surrender our fears, to break down the walls of resistance, and to trust the newness God is bringing into our lives. Instead of resisting what feels unfamiliar, embrace it as a moment for God to lead you deeper into His purpose.

"Lord Jesus, we surrender to You today. Break down the walls of fear, pride, and doubt in our hearts. Help us build a life that welcomes Your Spirit, turning every challenge into a testimony of Your power. Lead us, Lord, to the newness You are preparing. Strengthen us to walk in faith, knowing You are with us in every season. Amen."

If you’re ready to step into the life God has prepared, to build on the solid rock of Jesus Christ, we invite you to join us on this journey. Come be a part of Ekklesia Christian Life Ministries. Worship with us every Sunday at noon, 3960 Cane Run Rd or online at ekklesiachristianlife.org. Step forward today, and let Jesus turn every wind in your life into a blessing.
