Celebrate God’s Goodness
Good morning Ekklesia,
Celebrating the Goodness of God
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.” – Psalm 107:1 (NLT)
As we pause to reflect on this Thanksgiving season, let us boldly boast in the goodness of our God. He has been our provider, protector, and peace, leading us through the valleys and setting us on firm ground. Every breath we take and every blessing we experience is a testament to His enduring love. We cannot afford to take His goodness for granted; instead, we are called to proclaim it to the world.
The Apostle Paul reminds us, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord” (1 Corinthians 1:31, NLT). Boasting in the Lord is not arrogance; it is gratitude on display. It’s our declaration that we are nothing apart from Him, but through Him, we have everything.
Today, take time to recount the goodness of God in your life. Start a gratitude journal or share a testimony with a friend or family member. Let your words be filled with the joy of what God has done. If you're facing trials, remind yourself of His past faithfulness as evidence of what He will continue to do. When we publicly thank God, we encourage others to trust in His goodness and draw closer to Him.
Let's Pray...
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts overflowing with gratitude. Thank You for Your goodness and unfailing love that have carried us through every season of life. Forgive us for the moments we’ve taken Your blessings for granted. Today, we surrender our pride and self-sufficiency, choosing instead to boast in You alone. Use our lives as a living testimony of Your grace and mercy. We celebrate Your goodness, not just today but every day, and invite others to taste and see that You are good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
