Forgiveness
Good Morning, My Ekklesia Family,
Forgiveness...
It’s something we all need but often struggle to give. We long for it when we fall short, yet hesitate when the opportunity comes to extend it to others. But forgiveness isn’t about waiting for someone to "come to their senses." It’s about reflecting the heart of Christ—giving freely, just as He gave to us.
Forgiveness is Love in Action.
Forgiveness is Unconditional.
The Apostle Paul reminds us:
"Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others." — Colossians 3:13 (NLT)
Who is God calling you to forgive today?
Who might you need to ask for forgiveness from?
As we celebrate the birth of our Savior, let’s give the gift that cannot be bought—the gift of forgiveness. It sets both the giver and the receiver free.
Father, thank You for forgiving us through Jesus Christ. Help us to walk in Your love by forgiving those who have hurt us. Give us the grace to release bitterness, anger, and pride. May we be agents of reconciliation in a world longing for Your peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Remember, you are loved more than you know.
Peace and Blessings,
Stephan Kirby
