He Heals, He Binds

"He Heals the Brokenhearted"

Psalm 147:3 - "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

This verse speaks directly to God’s compassionate nature. He doesn’t overlook our pain or grief, but rather draws near to us in our brokenness. The word "binds up" suggests not only healing but a deep, tender care, like a physician dressing a wound with precision and love.

On those days when grief weighs the heaviest, for me, especially on a Monday, remember that God is actively binding your wounds. He’s present in your sadness and knows what it means to feel the burden of sorrow. In these moments, pause and invite God to wrap His love around you. You may feel like the weight of sadness is unbearable, but God’s promise is to carry that burden with you and to heal you one day at a time.

The Lord says, “I see your sorrow, and I am with you. I am your healer, and I will bring restoration to your soul. Trust that I am working even now in the places you cannot see.”
