How Well Do You Trust God?

How well do you Trust God? Some may say wholeheartedly, but is it true? If your actions take you to places other than God's plan, where is the trust?

We easily place our trust in news reporters, weather people, the company or personnel who made your car, What about the person who made your bed? These things and many others we will jump right into believe and trust without even testing it. Is it because these are things we can see physically? What about the friend or associate who advises you to do something other than what God has placed in your spirit. The actions you take prove whether or not you truly trust God.

Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.

Psalms 37:5 NLT

Many have prayed and asked God for strength and guidance, for help and wisdom, for love and protection and when He spoke and revealed those things to you, how did they come to you? Was it in the person of the news or weather reporter? Did your friend's advice confirm exactly what God said or was it different? Jesus told Peter when he confessed that Jesus was the Christ the son of the living God, Jesus replied, “You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being.

Matthew 16:17 NLT

People can not speak to you the way God can. And yet we trust in them more than God.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.

Proverbs 3:5‭-‬8 NLT

Today I pray you will begin to trust God completely in everything. I pray you will remember His timing is not like ours and His Word to you is always true. I pray your actions will line up with the things God promised.
