I’m Healed – God is My Healer

Good Morning My Ekklesia Family

A man who had suffered for years with an illness sat in his living room, flipping through his Bible. He had prayed countless times for healing, but nothing seemed to change. One day, as he read about the woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:25-34), something stirred in his spirit. He realized that healing isn’t just about the body—it’s about faith. That day, he chose to believe, not just in the possibility of healing but in the certainty that God was his Healer. From that moment on, he walked in faith, and soon, he found himself healed—inside and out.

Psalm 103:2-3 (NLT) – “Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.”

David reminds us that God is not only the forgiver of sins but also the healer of diseases. The Hebrew word for healing in this passage, rapha, means complete restoration—physical, emotional, and spiritual. The same God who healed lepers, opened blind eyes, and raised the dead is still working miracles today.

When the woman in Mark 5 reached out to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, she wasn’t just touching fabric—she was touching faith. Her belief activated her healing. Jesus turned to her and said, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over” (Mark 5:34, NLT). Healing is not just about physical ailments; it’s about trusting God for wholeness in every area of life.

  1. Believe Before You See It – Healing often starts with faith. Speak healing over your life and walk as if it has already happened.

  2. Release Bitterness and Unforgiveness – Many are spiritually sick because they hold onto past hurts. Healing comes when we release what’s weighing us down.

  3. Declare God’s Promises Daily – Speak scriptures of healing over yourself. Say, “By His stripes, I am healed” (Isaiah 53:5).

  4. Praise in the Waiting – Worship is a weapon! Even if healing hasn’t manifested yet, praise God in advance for what He is doing in your life.

Father, I come before You today, believing that You are my Healer. I surrender every sickness, every wound, and every burden to You. Just as You healed the woman with the issue of blood, I declare that I am healed by faith. I trust in Your Word and Your power. Lord, restore me—mind, body, and soul. Give me the strength to walk in my healing, even before I see it. I praise You for being my Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, now is the time. He is not only the Healer of your body but the Redeemer of your soul. Will you surrender to Him today? Say this:

“Lord Jesus, I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I receive You as my Savior and Healer. Make me whole and use me for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
