Is God Pleased with Me?

Good morning Ekklesia Family

It's easy to get caught up in the lives of others, often neglecting the introspective work necessary for our spiritual growth. We may find ourselves asking, "Is God pleased with me?" To answer this, we need to shift our focus inward.

"But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. For each one shall bear his own load." - Galatians 6:4-5 (NLT)

Paul's letter to the Galatians reminds us of the importance of self-examination. Here, "examine his own work" encourages personal reflection rather than comparing ourselves to others. The phrase "he will have rejoicing in himself alone" signifies the joy that comes from personal accountability and growth. Lastly, "each one shall bear his own load" emphasizes personal responsibility in our walk with Christ.

1. Self-Examination: Take time daily to reflect on your actions, thoughts, and motives. Are they aligned with God's will? This honest self-assessment helps us grow spiritually and remain accountable to God's standards.

2. Avoid Comparison: In a culture driven by social media and constant comparison, it's vital to remember that our walk with Christ is unique. Instead of measuring our worth against others, let's focus on our journey and how we can grow closer to God.

3. Personal Responsibility: Embrace the responsibility of your own spiritual growth. God's pleasure in us isn't based on our perfection but on our sincere efforts to seek Him, obey His commands, and grow in faith.

Heavenly Father, help us to turn our gaze inward and focus on our own spiritual journey. Teach us to reflect on our lives and align our hearts with Your will. May we find joy in personal growth and take responsibility for our walk with You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
