Good morning Ekklesia
Imagine a child clinging to their father’s hand in the middle of a storm. The wind howls, the rain pours, but as long as the child holds on, they are safe. They may not understand the storm, but they trust the hand that holds them.
Jesus, in John 14:27, speaks to His disciples on the eve of His crucifixion. He knows fear will try to grip their hearts, but He assures them of a supernatural peace—a peace not of this world, but from the very heart of God. Unlike worldly peace, which depends on circumstances, Christ’s peace remains in the storm, in uncertainty, in trial. This peace is His gift, secured by His presence through the Holy Spirit.
Many today are weighed down by anxiety, fear, and uncertainty. But Jesus offers you His peace—a divine assurance that no matter what you face, He is with you. This peace is received by faith, nurtured in prayer, and strengthened by His Word. Today, surrender your worries to Christ. Trust Him like the child in the storm, knowing His hand is steady and sure.
Prayer of Surrender & Encouragement: Heavenly Father, I receive the peace that Jesus has given me. I surrender my fears, my doubts, and my struggles into Your hands. Fill my heart with Your presence, and help me to walk in the confidence that You are in control. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Invitation to Christian Discipleship: If you have not yet received Jesus as Lord and Savior, today is the day. He stands with open arms, ready to give you a peace that the world cannot offer. Come and walk with Him. Grow in faith, connect with His church, and experience the fullness of His love.
