Life in Fullness and Strength

Good Morning Ekklesia!

John 10:10 (NLT) says, “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.”

Ephesians 6:10-20 (NLT) reminds us, “A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.”

Jesus came to offer us life in abundance—overflowing, satisfying, and eternal. But we must recognize that this abundant life isn’t without opposition. John 10:10 shows us the enemy’s plan to steal, kill, and destroy, but it also reveals Jesus' greater purpose: to bring life. Ephesians 6:10-20 equips us to defend this life by standing strong in the Lord. The armor of God is essential in combating the spiritual forces that attempt to strip away the fullness that Christ gives.

Living in abundance doesn't mean the absence of struggle; it means victory in the struggle. When trials come, we are not defenseless. God has provided us His armor: truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, the Word of God, and prayer. In every battle, remember that you are not fighting alone. The Lord is your strength, and His armor is your protection.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the rich and satisfying life You offer through Christ. Strengthen us, Lord, to stand firm in Your mighty power. Equip us with Your armor so that we can walk in victory each day. In every trial, remind us that You are our defender, and that nothing the enemy schemes will prevail against us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
