Loyalty
Good Morning, My Ekklesia Family! Happy Valentine's Day
Scripture: Proverbs 17:17 (NLT) – "A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need."
I want to start with a personal confession: I haven’t always been a loyal friend. There were times when I let people down, and for that, I am truly sorry. But God’s grace has brought me here today, and I pray to walk in loyalty and love from this moment forward.
Proverbs 17:17 teaches us that true friendship isn’t based on convenience—it’s built on commitment. A real friend is always loyal. This kind of love reflects Christ’s love for us. He didn’t just love us when it was easy; He loved us through the cross.
Have you ever felt abandoned by friends? Maybe you’ve been the one who walked away. We’ve all fallen short, but the good news is that Jesus never does. He is the ultimate Friend and Brother who stays with us in every season.
As the body of Christ—Ekklesia—we are called to be more than just acquaintances. We are family, born to lift each other up. Let’s commit today to being the kind of friends who love like Jesus—faithful, forgiving, and present.
Father, thank You for Your unchanging love. Forgive me for the times I have been unfaithful in my friendships. Teach me to love like You love—steadfast, loyal, and true. Help me to be a blessing to others and to build relationships that glorify You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
If you’ve never known the friendship of Jesus, today is the day. He is calling you into His family, into His love, into Ekklesia. Will you say yes to Him today? Surrender your heart, and let Him transform your life.
