Remembering God's Promises

GmEkklesia, What do we do when we find that we're not doing what we're supposed to, because we've become impatient with God, we grew tired of waiting. And moved in the opposite direction without God’s permission?

Trusting God's Timing

In times of impatience, we often stray from God’s promises, acting on our own desires. It's crucial to remember His faithfulness and realign with His will.

Psalm 27:14 - “Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.”

David's word reminds us, strength and courage come from waiting on God. His timing is perfect and trustworthy.

Isaiah 40:31 - “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.”

Isaiah prophetic reminder staying in God brings renewal and the ability to persevere.

And Jesus’ Assurance

John 14:27 - “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.”

Here Jesus provides peace that transcends impatience and anxiety.

1. What do we do when we're off track?

- Acknowledge: Admit when you've moved without God’s guidance.

- Repent: Turn back to God and seek His direction.

2. How do we regain alignment with God’s will?

- Pray for Patience: Ask God to renew your strength and patience.

- Seek His Word: Immerse yourself in Scripture for clarity and guidance.

3. How can we prevent future impatience?

- Support from Ekklesia: Engage with fellow believers for encouragement.

- Set Reminders: Regularly remind yourself of God's past faithfulness.

Trust in God’s promises and wait patiently for His timing. He is faithful and knows what is best for us.

Lord, help us to trust Your promises and wait patiently for Your perfect timing. Fill us with Your peace and guide our steps. Amen.
