The God of Right Now

He is Still the God of Right Now

Good morning Ekklesia

Hebrews 13:8 (NLT) - "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."

This verse reminds us that Jesus is unchanging. The same Jesus who healed, comforted, and guided His followers over 2,000 years ago is the same Jesus present with us today. In a world full of uncertainties, this verse is a steadfast reminder that we serve a God who is not confined to history. He’s the God of "right now," actively working in our lives, responding to our prayers, and leading us forward with His grace.

Wherever you are and whatever you’re facing, remember that God is with you at this very moment. He’s not just a distant figure from ancient stories or a future hope in heaven—He’s here, walking beside you, offering strength, wisdom, and love. Are you worried? Surrender that worry to Jesus, knowing He cares for you right now. Are you celebrating a victory? Give Him thanks, recognizing that every good gift is from Him. In every situation, practice the awareness of His presence, inviting Him into your daily thoughts, actions, and decisions.

"Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to You, right now. Thank You for being the God who never changes, who is with me in this moment. I lay down my fears, worries, and plans, trusting in Your constant love and guidance. Help me to walk each step with You, fully surrendered to Your will. Amen."

"Lord, we are grateful that You are the God of right now. Encourage each person here to feel Your presence in every breath and every moment. If there are those who feel far from You, draw them close. Open their hearts to follow You in discipleship, trusting in Your unchanging love. Lead them, Lord, to know You more deeply and to walk in Your light. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

Join us at Ekklesia Christian Life Ministries to experience the God of right now in community, worship, and love.
