Time to Heal

Good Morning, Ekklesia,

In the wake of life-changing events, it can feel as though the ground has shifted beneath our feet. Whether it's the loss of a loved one, a drastic shift in circumstances, or an unexpected challenge, we often find ourselves grappling with how to move forward while allowing space for grief. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." This passage tells us that God is not distant in our pain; He is right there, holding us, even when we feel most vulnerable.

The grieving process is not something to be feared or avoided; rather, it is a sacred journey towards healing. Ecclesiastes 3:4 tells us that there is "a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance." These words remind us that every season of life has its purpose, and grieving is essential to moving towards the joy that God has promised us.

After life-changing events, it's crucial to retain our focus on living each day with purpose. This doesn't mean we ignore our pain or rush through our grief. Instead, we acknowledge it, knowing that through our tears, God is working to restore us. Don't be afraid to reach out to someone for support. Galatians 6:2 encourages us to "carry each other's burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ." This is not a time to isolate; God has placed people in our lives to walk with us.

If you need to scream, cry, or simply sit in silence, know that it's okay. God hears every cry, understands every tear, and sees every silent prayer. In Romans 8:26, Paul writes, "The Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans." Even when we don't have the words, God knows and cares deeply.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your presence in our lives, especially in times of deep sorrow and pain. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and strength as we navigate these life-changing events. Help us to feel Your closeness and to remember that You are with us every step of the way. Grant us the courage to reach out to others, to lean on the community You have given us, and to allow ourselves to grieve fully. May we find hope in Your promise of healing and restoration. In Jesus' name, Amen.

If you haven't yet accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, I invite you today to experience the peace and comfort that only He can provide. Life will bring its challenges, but with Christ, you never have to walk alone. He is ready to embrace you, to heal your heart, and to give you a new beginning. Simply believe in Him, confess your sins, and invite Him into your life. You can start this journey right now.
