Trusting God's Process

Good morning Ekklesia

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV) - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."

Life often feels like a series of straight lines we expect to walk smoothly, but God's plan is more like a winding path with unexpected turns. Our vision is limited; His is infinite.

When Joseph dreamed of leadership, he didn’t foresee the pit, slavery, or prison. Yet, God used each struggle to prepare him for his destiny. God’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). He sees the full picture, orchestrating our steps with divine purpose.

Proverbs 3:5-6 urges us to trust God completely, not relying on our limited understanding. Submission to God’s will is essential, even when the path is difficult or unclear. Like Joseph, we may not understand the trials we face, but they are refining us for God’s greater plan.

1. Embrace the Journey:

- When facing obstacles, remember that each challenge is an opportunity for growth. Pray for strength and wisdom to see God's purpose in every situation.

2. Surrender Control:

- Acknowledge that God’s plan may differ from yours. Release your need for control and allow God to guide you, trusting that His way is perfect.

3. Find Peace in the Process:

- Cultivate a heart of gratitude. Reflect on how past difficulties have strengthened your faith. Praise God not only for the destination but for His presence along the journey.

Though the road may be rough, God's plan is worth it. He is with you every step, shaping you into who He created you to be. Trust the process, and rest in the assurance that His plan is perfect. Amen.
