You’ve Always Been My Father
Good Morning Ekklesia
“The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.” (Psalm 103:13, NLT)
As I reflect on my life, I see it clearly now: God, Yahweh, Jehovah—you’ve always been my Father. Even in moments when I strayed, when I wasn’t much of a son, Your love never wavered. You stood firm, watching over me, guiding me back to Your heart.
You were there when I didn’t recognize You. You provided when I didn’t acknowledge You. You loved me when I didn’t love myself. You’ve been my constant, my anchor, my safe place. And now I stand here today, overwhelmed by Your grace.
You’ve shown me what true fatherhood looks like. You’ve been patient when I was stubborn, compassionate when I was broken, and faithful when I was faithless.
No matter where you are today, no matter how far you’ve wandered, God is still your Father. He sees you. He knows you. And He’s waiting for you to come home. There’s nothing you’ve done that can separate you from His love. You are His child—always.
Father Yahweh, Jehovah, I come to You humbled and grateful. You’ve been my Father through every season of my life—faithful when I was unfaithful, loving when I was undeserving. Thank You for never giving up on me, for pursuing me even when I turned away.
Today, I surrender again to You. I acknowledge Your love and Your presence in my life. Teach me to walk as Your son, to live in obedience to Your will, and to reflect Your love to others. Strengthen me, guide me, and let my life glorify You.
For those here today who feel distant from You, I ask that You draw them close. Remind them that You are their Father, and there is nothing they can do to lose Your love. Heal their hearts, restore their faith, and give them the courage to trust You.
Thank You, Father, for always being who You are—steadfast, compassionate, and kind. I give You all the glory, honor, and praise. In the name of Jesus, Your Son, my Savior, I pray. Amen.
If you’ve been running from God, now is the time to come home. He is your Father, and He’s waiting with open arms. Surrender your heart to Him today, and let Him lead you into the fullness of His love.
