Your Work Will Be Rewarded

Good Morning, My Ekklesia Family!

2 Chronicles 15:7 (NLT) – "But as for you, be strong and courageous, for your work will be rewarded."

This powerful encouragement was spoken by the prophet Azariah to King Asa of Judah during a time of national turmoil. The people had turned away from God, but Asa was leading a revival, calling the nation back to faithfulness and obedience.

Azariah reminds Asa that while the journey of faith may be difficult, God sees the labor of His people and promises that their work will not be in vain. The Hebrew word for “rewarded” (sakar) refers to divine compensation—God’s way of blessing those who remain faithful.

This verse is a call to perseverance in the face of difficulty. It reminds us that when we remain steadfast in our obedience, prayer, and service, God will honor our efforts in His perfect timing.

  1. Stay Encouraged in the Work – Whether you are serving in ministry, leading your family, or standing for righteousness, know that God sees your faithfulness and will reward you.

  2. Push Through the Opposition – Just like Asa, you will face challenges, but do not give up! Every act of obedience brings you closer to God’s promise.

  3. Trust in God’s Timing – The reward may not come immediately, but God’s delays are not denials. Stay faithful, and He will fulfill His promises.

  4. Strengthen Others – Just as Azariah encouraged Asa, take a moment today to speak life into someone else who may be weary in their journey.

Father, thank You for seeing my efforts, my struggles, and my faithfulness. I surrender my doubts, my exhaustion, and my fears to You. Strengthen me to keep pressing forward, knowing that You are faithful to reward those who diligently seek You. Fill me with courage, perseverance, and unwavering trust in Your promises. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Family, if you’ve been feeling weary, this is your reminder: Don’t give up! God has not forgotten you. Keep seeking, keep praying, keep believing—your reward is coming. If you have not yet given your life to Christ, today is the day! Step into a life of faith, knowing that God is faithful to complete the work He began in you.
